Robosavvy has been upgraded. Among other features, the new site allows registered users to publish articles and blogs using a WYSIWYG editor.

RoboSavvy.com has been powered by a web site engine called phpnuke for almost 3 years. It was time for an upgrade mainly due to security issues. The site now runs on top of a new engine called Joomla.

The new site will alow users to better interact with other users within the community and share their humanoid robot experiences and knowledge in many ways.

The main new feature of the new site is that it allows users to publish their own articles, news and blogs.

It also allows users to upload files (including the much needed feature of uploading multiple files in one go)

Articles and blogs are published using a web based WYSIWYG editor

Once published, these articles and blogs are visible to the world (through te links marked in red below). You can re-edit your published articles and blogs (through the pencil icon link marked in green below).

Hi srobot,

thanks! we've been working very hard on getting the transition to be as smooth as possible and to make sure that all the google indexed pages are still accessible.. lots of odd looking ModRewrite rules.
You should be able to view your old messages thorugh the link at the top of the forum page (when you are logged in) that says normally "No new messages" here's a link.

If you have just logged in but when you go to a forum page it seems like you are not logged in any more, try to change the URL from http://www.robosavvy.com/... to http://robosavvy.com/... as this may be an issue with cookies. this will be fixed soon.

Unfortunately the "View Posts Since Last Visit" link does not seem to work anymore.

I found this thread by manually checking each forum.
